A Bible Study to Stretch Your Spiritual Muscles:

“Serious Answers to Hard Questions”

 

Beginning June 29, 2010, a serious look at some hard questions that we find ourselves (or others) asking us as Christians. The ten topics for this study are:

  1. Why does a good God permit such Evil to exist?
  2. Can Religion and the Physical Sciences co-exist?
  3. Is there Truth in other religions?
  4. Can we promote Evangelism and still be tolerant of others’ faiths?
  5. We are Christians: why do we need to study the Old Testament?
  6. Is Christianity really based on the historical Jesus?
  7. Is resurrection “we are going to Heaven” or is it “Heaven is coming to us”?
  8. Are the Gnostic Gospels (think “The DaVinci Code”) the true story of Jesus?
  9. Has the Church become too worldly and riddled with sin?
  10. We forgive, but can we be reconciled with those who have hurt us?

           This course is offered twice each week.  You may attend Tuesday mornings, 9:00-10:00am, or Wednesday evenings, 7:00pm-8:00pm.  The Tuesday morning sessions begin on June 29th and the Wednesday evening sessions begin on June 30th.  All sessions are held at the church.  Church address is 4400 SW Drury Lane, Topeka, Kansas. “Serious Answers to Hard Questions” is a DVD based course.  There are no class materials to buy.  Your host and facilitator is Rick Biles.
