A Mission Update
Seventeen youth and sponsors descended upon the Ronald McDonald House on Sunday, January 10, for our first mission experience of the year. A taco bar was prepared for parents who are staying at the house while they have children in the hospital. We are looking forward to going back in the spring and helping with outdoor chores.
We voted to contact the Washburn Campus Minister about the possibility of serving a monthly meal to students who participate in the Center's activities. We will also be asking Lowman adults to pair up with us for a work day at the Campus Ministry house. More details about both events will be published as they become available.
We will also be collecting pill bottles, combs and disposable razors for Let's Help. Mike will arrange a time for us to assemble the kits that will be given to those who need them.
If you know of any youths in sixth through twelfth grade who are not participating in a group, please invite them to be a part of ours. Or, you can also let Mike know so he can make a contact. He is in the office every Wednesday afternoon. You may also e-mail him.
