Writing After Fifty

Everyone can write--it's what we did in school. Tell your story by triggering your memory, one story at a time. Then go on from there to write other things!
No experience necessary. Bring pencil and pad.

Financial Series

7:00-8:30pm on the third Wednesday of every month
Cost: Free

Upcoming topics include "Reverse Mortgages," "Teaching Your Children How to Handle Money," and "What to Keep Where, for How Long, and Why."

Health Series

5:00-6:00pm on the first Wednesday of every month.
Cost: Free

The program on Feb. 2 is "Good Information is Good Medicine: How to Find It."

AARP Safe Driving for Seniors
Instructor: Bob Carey
April 21 & 22; 10am - noon & 1-3pm (8 hours total in 2 days)
Cost: $10 fee for learning materials

Keep driving safely, cope with changes in vision, hearing and reaction time, and get a discount on your car insurance! Must attend all 8 hours.

ALPHA
Instructor: The ALPHA team
6:00-8:30pm every Wednesday
Runs February 2 - April 13
Cost: Free

This introduction to the Christian faith begins with a free supper at 6:00pm, followed by an informal worship service at 6:30. At 7:00, a 40-minute video is shown with an opportunity for discussion and prayer afterward.
